USA Ninja Challenge competitions involve children of different ages negotiating obstacle courses containing challenges in the categories of jumping, climbing, swinging, traversing, balance and floor skills.  Ninjas compete at different age and skill levels.

Competitors “race” the clock to finish the courses in their best time.  A judging system in employed to track time penalties throughout each course.

Many competitions also offer “Side Missions” which are individual obstacle challenges for best times or greatest distances.  There are even head-to-head races!

A skill level progression system has been devised to challenge children of different abilities and create mobility by providing step-by-step successes. This system also creates parity in competition and teaches children how to set and attain goals.

Franchise clubs have the option to send competitors to events in their local area and also at the state, regional and national levels.  Browse the photos in the gallery below to get an idea of what happens at a typical USA Ninja Challenge event.
